Marion County Veterans Park

Honoring Those Who Served

Supporting Our Veterans Community

Iggy's Freedom Run proudly raises awareness and support for Marion County Veterans Park

The Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park, established in 1997, serves as a quiet oasis and lasting memorial to all veterans who served, fought, and died for our individual freedoms. This treasured community space honors veterans with more than 5,000 memorial bricks, 200 benches, and 100 plaques.

"A non-profit, volunteer-staffed organization dedicated to creating and nurturing a majestic setting honoring Veterans and their families for their respective services and sacrifices made on behalf of the United States of America while fostering an educational venue to stimulate current and future generations of Marion County and beyond."

Friends of Marion County Veterans Park Mission

Through Iggy's 4 on the Fourth Freedom Run, we aim to raise awareness about the park's mission and encourage community involvement in supporting our local veterans. The park is staffed by volunteers, many of whom are veterans sharing first-hand recollections of their service.
